The weather has cooled down considerably the past couple days. It is already feeling like Fall, which is freaking me out. I blinked and the summer is nearly gone.
Got M all registered for 11th grade last Thursday. Now she is all fired up about school shopping. Ugh. I don't mind the trip to Target for school supplies but the endless hours at the mall's teenybopper stores wear me out. At the risk of sounding 70 years old, do they have to blast that music so loud?
I haven't squeezed in any sewing since we came home from the beach. Knitting time has been limited too. I did cast on another Wingspan, this time in a rainbow striped sock yarn.
Turns out this is excellent movie knitting. I took it to Moonrise Kingdom on Wednesday night (loved it so much) and then to Hope Springs last night (pretty good but an awful lot of sex scenes!). I finished the fourth wedge before I had to start the second ball of yarn, so I'm hoping I will have enough.
I cast on another project on the drive home from the beach and haven't touched it since. It is a cool little shrug, Gaia
I am actually copying this version because I love the edge.
If I ever get back to it, I can wear it over dresses at work. You can never have too many little cardigans!
