I had a very enthusiastic crowd at my Introduction to Rigid-Heddle weaving class on Monday night. I haven't heard about any orders yet, but I really hope a few of them will decide to get a loom. I told them if I get enough new cult members, I win a toaster.
I belong to the Inkle Weaver's group on Ravelry and we started a weave-a-long on March 1st. I got off to a late start and then fought with my first warp attempt, but I finally got a good warp on and I'm plugging along.
My warp is not long enough for a belt but I might make it into a pouch.
I finished the baby bunting.
I think the color pattern at the bottom was wasted effort. There isn't enough contrast with the main color. Ah well, live and learn. I did find really cute buttons at Yarn Cravin', Dale helped me pick them out.
We are supposed to get non-stop rain today, so I am going to make laundry and weaving my activities of the day. I am making a very fine scarf on one of the warps from the weaving class. It is lightweight and brightly colored - just perfect for the Spring weather that I am certain is just around the corner.
