Oh...um...wow. Those are certainly "bright", huh? You might even call them "vivid". That's a really good description. Bright, vivid, and...um...interesting! Bless your heart.
Sigh. Well, they will fit her at least. And maybe my sister has wished for socks you can spot from space. You never can tell.
I'm well into sock #2 but I can't finish these soon enough. Like everybody else in knitblogland, I have devoured my copy of the new Mason-Dixon Knitting blog and I am DYING to cast on a sweater. Maybe another 24 hours or so and I can jump in. Just keep knitting, just keep knitting...
P.S. The sock pattern is "Welt Fantastic" from Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch. Fun and easy to memorize. It isn't poor Charlene's fault, she didn't suggest the yarn.
